Partners sought for ETI Heavy Duty Vehicle Marine Waste Heat Recovery Project

- The request for proposals will close on 30th June 2016; the deadline for notification of intention to submit a proposal is 28Apri 2016
The Energy Technologies Institute is launching a new project for the delivery and demonstration of a Waste Heat Recovery System for shipping that could deliver fuel efficiency savings of at least 8% across a number of different types of vessels.
The proposed technology should be capable of being deployed on a range of marine vessels, including chemical tankers, general cargo vessels, container feeders, offshore support vessels and roll on roll off passenger ships.
The successful respondents will be expected to manage procurement and manufacture, and demonstrate the technology at full-scale on a sea going vessel.
